Mr. Rae, who designs exclusively for United Cutlery, has been engrossed in fantasy art all his life, with a background in illustration, painting, sculpting and carries with him a 16 year history of knife and sword design. His designs, which have inspirations varying from Greek and Egyptian mythology to creations from his own fantasy creations, have made his work very popular among serious fantasy knife and sword collectors, and his knives have appeared in numerous television shows and feature films. He captures a myriad of themes in his artwork and every piece tells a story. The Kit Rae line consists of edged knife and sword art, with some pieces defying conventional description. Each piece is branded with the designer's trademark and includes a certificate guaranteeing that it is a genuine original. Periodic limited editions, and pieces that include companion art prints created by the artist himself will also be available. Anathros and Valermos From a world of fantasy legends come the fifth and sixth editions of the "Swords of the Ancients Collection," designed by fantasy artist Kit Rae. The fifth sword is Anathros (KR6), and the sixth sword is Valermos (KR7), each sold separately. These high quality fantasy swords feature intricately detailed solid metal handle parts and 420 stainless steel blades (unsharpened) engraved with ancient runes.
